Rip Off Sky
I had a sky + box....increased my subscription but told me I would get Disney+ and HBO included.....did not work. Was then told I needed sky stream which I agreed to as an upgrade. Also told I would get Hayu. All lies. Also told me 5 mins to set up.....took over two hours...30 mins on chatbot and 4 phone calls. Still cannot get Disney+ HBO and was told hayu was only for 7 days plus charged 39.95 as set up for Sky stream. Total con. I want my monthly susbcription reduced as these are are not free....they will only work if I pay. Have done refersh apps...even the tech guy tried....they do not work. I Want my subscription reduced plus my 39.95 refunded ....

Re: Rip Off Sky
@Teri+Clark I get the basic version of HBO Max, Hayu and Disney+ free with my Sky Stream subscription. Sounds like you haven't set them up correctly.

Re: Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu into one single subscription, exclusively on Sky
Unable to access disney+ HBO Max and then find out Hayu subscription only free for 7 days. Total con. On for two hours with technical support could not fix it. Upped my subcritop with sky+ box...then told you need sky stream...did this paid the 39.95 for set up. Did all the stuff refersh apps, technical cannot get it to work. Now paying an extra 20 pounds per month. How do I get my subscription reduced as the package is not what they said it would be ...also I want my money back for the set up......I cannit cancel sky as need my TV & broadband. Complaints department do not reply to emails or calls, chatbot just trys to upsell me....total con

Re: Rip Off Sky
@Teri+Clark Hayu does not require the app the full service launched this week and you can now access the programs via the main menus.
The basic with ads tiers of Disney+ and HBO should be bundled with Sky Stream contracts. Something is wrong with your account set up if you cannot access them so raise a complaint see How to make a Sky complaint | Sky Help | Sky.com
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

If don't want sky stream and you had Sky + box could you have had Sky Q which like Sky + gets is signal from the satellites dish on the out side of property and would just involved a Sky engineer replacing the LNB on your dish as Sky Q needs a slightly different type, The engineer will also set up you Sky Q box unlike Sky stream which is self install . Unlike Sky streamm that get it signal from your broadband. With sky Q it should have been straight swap I don't however you would have to subscribe to the latest entertainment package signature to get the Free Disney+ HBO max and Hayu . However there should be no set up up charge with SkyQ in fact I did not know there was a set up for Sky stream. The amount you have been charged is simlar to what sky charge for the sky puck but I though the first one is supplied free anyway. Sky Q look more like your Sky + did. If you are still in your first month of Sky stream you should be able to change over to SkyQ with out problem. You just need to get on to Sky and tell that you want to swap with respect to Hayu by the look you have loged on the Hayu app which is still charablecwith just 7 dy free trail for new users. The free Sky Hayu service is avalable in the on demand section bog your Sky puck ( box)

But not if the content subscription is Essential TV rather than Ultimate TV.

Re: Rip Off Sky
spent 4 hours with the so called technical experts ...totally useless. Ended up contacting HBO and Disney myself to get sorted. Turns out my account had been compromised ...tried to raise a complaint with sky...nothing but fake platitudes
