Ridiculous price increase for essential pack

I want to express my disappointment regarding the recent increase in the price of broadband essential. This 12% increase, which will soon become 18% as the £2 discount will cease to apply, is ridiculously high for the service you provide. The sole reason for choosing this package is the lack of fibre broadband in my area, which is a different matter but similarly ridiculous, as I live on a main street in the center of one of the largest cities in the UK. I am seriously considering changing providers after more than 5 years with you, as my long term devotion to Sky has not benefitted me one bit.

You can leave penalty free following this increase should you wish.  You always get the best rates as a new customer...

You generally have to switch (Regularly) to save.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

I'd observe that ADSL is now more expensive for an ISP to purchase wholesale than both FTTC and FTTP.

If Sky can only supply ADSL then that's likely to be the case for any other ISP on the national Openreach network.

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband type is available to Openreach ISPs.

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
