Returning equipment

I have received a text message threatening me with charges if I do not return my Sky equipment. I received a returns box from Sky. I have returned everything to you very soon after receiving this box and have a proof of postage receipt from my local Post Office to prove the return of this equipment. Please do not send me any more requests for this equipment or attempt to charge me for their non-return. I cannot be held responsible for the loss of this equipment in the postal system if you have not received it.

Thank you.

@GMoyes

What have you returned? You've posted in the Sky+ forum. Sky+ equipment is yours and doesn't need returning.

edit- I've moved your post.

Re: Returning equipment

Why was I asked to return everything then? I am moving to a new house in 7 months time and could, I presume, have kept my three boxes to take to my new house.

When I rejoin Sky in about July next year, I presume that you are going to charge me again in order to get three new Sky boxes?

I was not prepared to pay for 7 months Sky and not be connected and using the service I pay for whilst in rented accommodation, so I cancelled my contract. At no point was I told that I could keep the equipment and not pay any monthly direct debit payments again until it was reconnected again in seven months time.

I’m afraid you are not contacting Sky Customer Services on here. This is a customer to customer forum where we try to help each other.

Did you have Sky+ (the boxes are yours so Sky wouldn't have sent packaging out or be chasing you for it) or Sky Q which is loaned to you?

Is this a Sky Q box that you have returned because if so and if you don't want to call we can get you some help come Thursday if you want via the messaging team on here because with the proof you have it shouldn't be an issue for them to sort this out for you.
