Returned Sky Hub - still in transit??

Hi Sky community,

 

I ended my broadband contract on 26th September 2024 and returned my Sky hub on 4th October 2024 in the Sky returns packaging provided, however I am being chased via email and text advising it has not been received. I have proof of postage that it was signed for. I have also spoken to Sky twice now and received an email of which they confirm that they have received the equipment, however on my account it says that it is still in transit.

 

 Sky have advised that I will not be charged the £53 fee, but if my account says that it is still not returned, I can only assume that this will be charged automatically, even though I'm assured that it will not.

 

 Please can someone escalate this and  update my account with receipt of the hub. I have sent in proof of postage, and called customer services twice now, but still it has not been resolved.

 

 Please help, as I can see that this is a common issue and we shouldn't have to be charged for something we have proof of returning, just because someone at the distribution centre hasn't logged it in properly.
