Restrictions

I am disgusted how I've been treated I was told to pay £50 today which im doing and last night my sky went off im

really disappointed and I can't wait until October when I've finished my contract and I can't leave sky

ive been a loyal customer for over 20 years and always paid on time and this is how I get treated

ive spoken twice now on live chat and was told everything is ok but again twice now my television as gone off

I'm not happy at all and I want to put in a complaint how I've been treated

I want my services put back on if you read the last messages I said I will pay £50 today and the remainder next week due to me starting a new job role I never got paid last month which i explained

Truly truly let down

While you are only talking to other customers here what we can say is that your bill hasn't been paid Sky will require the bill to be paid in full and your payment details setup before they will restore it. So if you owe more than £50 you might find that it is still restricted until you do pay the full amount.

@Debbie+19

If your services are restricted they won’t be switched back on until any arrears Sky believe you owe have been paid and you’ve also set up a new continuous payment method. Until then any calls to Sky will only prompt you to pay.

Restrictions are applied automatically and can’t be overridden by agents. Sky will not consider promises to pay on or by a certain date (£50 today and then the remainder next week).

If a payment is 2+ weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well.

If payments are 56+ days overdue Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).

If this is part of a credit agreement purchase (for Sky Mobile or Sky Glass) non payment can see the credit agreement cancelled at which point the full amount becomes due in one payment.

Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week.

You should be able to pay the bill and set up your direct debit via the MySky app or online using this link

@Debbie+19 it's up to you to make sure you pay your bill in full and on time. Sky only restrict your services if you don't do so.

Feel angry and let down

I have paid my £50 like I was asked to do today but my television is off so you clearly do keep your end what you say I was told it won't go off I'm fuming

I can't wait to leave sky in October I've never missed payments and like I explained the only reason I couldn't pay this month is because I started a new job and don't get paid until the end of august

@Debbie+19

Your latest pist has been added to the one you made early this morning about this.

You also haventy noticed that you are not talking to Sky here as we are customers who help each other.

The rules regarding bills not being paid apply to use all regardless of what our personal circumstances are.

@Debbie+19  There is little point in creating another thread regarding restrictions to your services when you've received replies regarding Sky's Payment terms to you other posts.

Are you even reading the replies?

Your expectations are unreasonable. You didn't pay your bill on time.
