My account was restricted I have paid the amount they have requested and set up my direct debit - still restricted
what do I do can't speak to anyone because my account is restricted?????

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf your services are restricted you need to wait for the payment to clear into Skys account. If your payment was more than two weeks overdue you'll need to pay the next bill as well.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAlso when did you make the payment? The restrictions won't be lifted immediately as time is required for the payment to clear into Skys account and for your accounts status to then be updated as no longer being in arrears.

I don't know for sure but I'd say always allow 24 hours for the payment to clear.
You may need to setup a new continuous payment method on your account as well.
Does your bill in your Sky account now have the status as paid?

How do I get this escalated to Sky please?

You could try calling Sky from a phone number not associated with your account or by withholding your number but you may be blocked once you are asked for your account number.
What Sky services do you have? Are the services themselves restricted?
