I received an email to say that you were notified by another provider that the landline was being cancelled and i was asked to call (removed) however that number does not work. I have tried all other channels to no avail including the 0818 no to which i was on hold for 58 minutes. Can i please request a call back ?

I’m afraid you’re not talking to Sky Customer Services here. This is a forum where customers try to help other customers. Sky won't call you. You will have to persevere on the phone. The lines do work otherwise the forum boards would be in meltdown.
If you already have a Sky Mobile or a Sky Talk landline call free by dialling 150, otherwise you can use:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0818 number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).
You will find that similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you back to the forum.

It won't work, if you're in Ireland. The 0818 number is the one you need.
Do follow this up, otherwise your landline/broadband service from Sky may be terminated.
