Imy account has been created but you still took my direct debit? I don't understand

@Lynn007 you are not talking to Sky by posting in the forum. Direct Debits are prepared 14 days before they are taken so recent changes to your account wont be reflected in the debit.  Where customers have over paid the credit is either appliedcagsinst future bills or the money returned but that takes roughly 6 weeks . You would need to call Sky if you believe you are owed money to get it returned more quickly.

Do you mean credited ?

 

If so Sky requests the payment for a direct debit 14 days prior to thye billing date so if the credit was added during these 14 days it will not have been used but should be against your next bill.
