Refund

Hi, who do I contact to get the refund from our sky account please? 

It is from cancelling sky. Is there anyway to get the refund within a few days please? 

Our account is in credit etc so should be easy?

Yes, if you contact Sky they'll manually refund it providing you haven't cancelled your,direct debit.

I did ring them and they said wait till the normal payment date and then it can take a few months! Surly there is a quicker way to the refund?

You have been wrongly informed as an automatic credit can take a good while to be refunded but if there is a credit on the account then that should be refunded within 5 working days.

What was your billing date each month ?

Refunds normally take about six weeks from the last day of connection but posts on here suggest it's taking longer.

 

At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps. Providing your payment method is still active they should be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.

Hi @Stewartrovers   I would try again. It sounds like the person you spoke to took the easy way out.

1st of each month. But then they said it could take a few months for the refund to be issued.

Then they are definitely trying to take the easy way out of the conversation so I would call them again because as far as we know they should be able to issue the refund now seeing as the bilk with the credit on has been generated.
