Refund

I've paid too much on my bill it's still a pending transaction but I need a code. To cancel it how do I get the code

Who is asking you for a code? Never heard of this before.

Same here. Have you made an unnecessary manual payment? Payments are not processed at weekends anyway. Is this code request from your bank?

If you have a continuous payment method set up you should never need to make a manual payment. Once the original planned payment has been processed a credit should appear on your Sky account for the amount you have overpaid. This should automatically be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account. I would suggest NOT making any manual payments unless requested to by Sky.

If you prefer, once your extra payment is showing as a credit, we can perhaps get you some help in getting it refunded (within the standard 3-5 working days) through the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that having confirmed it’s now showing as a credit.

As customers here, this code is not something we can provide or necessarily point you in the direction of and we've stated we've not heard of this before. 

You either need to call Sky and see if it's something they can provide, or let the normal payment method run it's course.

If it's a code from Sky that they want you could phone and ask, but I'm doubtful that they'll know what's needed or be able to provide it.

If you have made an unnecessary manual payment then once it has been cleared you should see a credit on your account and when you do if you post back on here we can arrange some help via Sky's messaging team regarding a refund.
