Refund from Sky

Hi there. I received an email from Sky telling me I am in credit, and that they would like me to get in touch so that they can refund the money owed. I rang the number provided which is telling me that they will send a cheque to the address they have on record for me.

The address they have on record for me is no longer my home and I have no access to it as I have moved.

How do I let Sky customer service know my new address to send the cheque to? I've been round and round in circles and it's now driving me nuts. The cheque is going to be on its way to me and there is nothing I can do about it.

All I need is a telephone number or an email adress.

I no longer have a Sky account as they do not provide super fast broadband in my area, which weirdly, is in a city.

Many thanks in advance

If you've moved address since cancelling you'll need to call Sky. They can either:

  • raise a cheque and post it to you or
  • reinstate your previous payment method and refund you within 3-5 WORKING days

Yup, I know. Any idea which number to call because I haven't a clue, especially no longer being a sky customer. That's my problem , and why I originally posted.

These are the current methods for contacting Sky. Some methods will be more appropriate than others depending on the reason for contact……

🟧 📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

All calls will start automated (aka ‘the bot’) which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.

🟧online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.

🟧Sky Assistant 💬 should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.

🟧Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on Facebook or Instagram, (links at the bottom of the forum page).

🟩Note ~ ROI customers If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of the link is showing the correct flag and change if required. The Sky Ireland phone lines are closed at a weekend.
