Amazing how you can go to your sky app and ADD anything you wish.......

it's a shame SLY tv don't offer the same facilities to remove packages......

It's annoying but not sure it's a 'rip off'.

That's typical across business which offer online sign-up, which is why it's being addressed through the Digital Markets Competition and Consumer Act (passed in 2024 but not yet implemented by the Competition & Markets Authority)

 

(4) In relation to a subscription contract entered into online, arrangements under subsection (1) must—

 

(a) enable a consumer to bring the contract to an end online, and

 

(b) ensure that instructions for doing so are displayed online in a place or places that a consumer seeking to end the contract is likely to find them.
