REFUND

Hi, 

 

I need this post to be escalated so someone can process my refund of account credit. 

 

This seems to be a real issue for Sky looking at the chat threads!

 

I think its shocking that you expect people to wait 6 weeks for a refund!

 

I'm already in a position of financial hardship currently, I have done everything you have asked in regards to cancellation and return of equipment, I deserve to have my money returned! 

 

Please can this be actioned immediately.

@KATE0901 you are not talking ti Sky by posting in the forum. Sky are not unusual in taking some weeks before paying out credits you will find most large companies are similar.However as requested I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.

Firstly thanks for raising this i appreciate that.

 

Secondly, I know this is not sky directly and is a community forum. I am unable to make calls so cannot talk to them and when I tried to use the chat bit it did not help and only advised I post on here like others do. 

 

Most big companies are able to refund in 7-14 working days which is a more acceptable time frame. 6 weeks is not and as I jave seen on several posts this is a reoccurring issue with Sky.

 

I've had to cancel due to financial hardship and was advised before cancellation I would recieve refund upon return of equipment. I was never advised of the long time frame or I would of raised this as an issue at the time.
