Price rises and options
Hi,
Probably been asked already.
I've had the email about price rises and the 31 days for cancellation.
What is the process to go about switching and cancelling sky broadband and talk.
Do I ring sky to say I would like to cancel. I've already done a search but not signed up for anyone else yet.
What i don't want is to cancel and be without broadband. Do I ring to say I'll be going with another provider then sign up with another provider or do I sign up with provider then ring sky?
I'm not sure how to go about it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
TIA.

Re: Price rises and options
caesarome
I think so but im not sure what that means.
I took a 24 month contract out for broadband and talk around April last year.
How would I find out about minimum term contract thing. Like I said I'm not sure where to start and how to go about things?
Thanks for replying.

If you are looking to cancel penalty free as part of the annual price rise, you will need to contact Sky first to let them know, this is so they will be able to override the automatic nature of the system which would by default charge the early termination fee should you switch to another provider. Once you have informed Sky that you will be taking up the offer of leaving within the 31 days of being notified of the change you will then be free to switch your broadband provider as you normally would.

Then you would be in a contract so you need to call them on the number shown on the email/letter.
