I have been offered a contract renewal for 24 months. Broadband only.
Will the agreed monthly price stay the same for the 24 months ? Or will it go up in April 2027?

The monthly price will almost certainly increase in April for all customers. Your contract isn't fixed.

Re: Price increase on fixed contract
Sky has never done fixed price contracts so the chances are you will see an increase next April and the April after that. The actual discount you have, so 20%, 30% etc is fixed but the price prior to this is not.

Re: Price increase on fixed contract
Seems a bit strange to offer a certain price a month and then put it up mid-contract ?

Re: Price increase on fixed contract
It's not strange. There is the inevitable annual price increase each April for UK customers.

It's standard practice across the ISP industry.
The increase used to be linked to the rate of either CPI or RPI but that's no longer permitted. Ofcom now offers ISPs a choice: they either have to give a cash figure for what the increase is going to be in advance of the customer agreeing to the contract, or the customer must be given an opportunity to leave when the increase is announced.
Sky has chosen the latter.
