Price after 24m

Hello,

I am writing to express my strong disappointment regarding my upcoming contract end. My monthly bill is set to increase to nearly £150 (up from roughly £70), while the automatic renewal offer presented is a discount of just £5 per month based on the new pricing structure.

This offer is completely inadequate given the scale of the price hike. Forcing existing clients to cancel or leave simply to access standard 24-month retention rates is poor customer service.

Regards,

Call and negotiate.  Leave if you can't agree a deal.

@Damijoo when your contract ends you pay the advertised list price. Sky aren't obliged to offer you any discount.

If the price is,unpalatable, your best bet is to switch to another provider. But beware, you'll be in the same position with them, once your new custo,er discounts expire.

Indeed.  New customer discounts can be 'generous' to attract people...

@Damijoo  Being loyal doesn't pay, you may need to change providers every 2 years to get the lowest price possible, that is sadly the state of things with all providers.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I always found actually giving notice to leave extracted more attention.  But doesn't always work...

switching will almost always get the best price - you just need weigh up that versus the switch.
