Premium down grade fee

I took out sky sports on a 4 week trail. I cancelled this after 21 days but was told I would now have to pay a £60 down grade fee.Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes.

It's covered in the contract but personally I find it 'cheeky' during a trial...

Try complaining, a formal one if necessary - see where that goes.

How do you figure that? I'm currently in a chat about mine magically changing to 2 months free when I took it out and then back to 4 weeks when I cancelled at the start of the 2nd month.

By reading the contract?  "We may charge a reasonable administration fee for making any changes to your option..."

I did know if you can cancel a item in you Sky subscription and giving  the required  31day notice and is not subject to a minimum term that Sky charged admin fee?

They don't and they certainly don't charge £60 for cancelling a "cancel anytime" free trial.
