Potential scam

I just received a call from a member of your staff stating that I've been offered a further discount on my contract with a free iPad as well. Became a bit hostile when asked if it was a scam.
Definately seems too good to be true!

@TC97 number one you are not talking to Sky when posting in the forum. Number two it is highly unlikely Sky are offering to give away a iPad while discounting your service. Oddly Sky are in business to make money. Sounds to be a scam call.

@TC97  You didn't receive a call from Sky as Sky would never give away such a high value item.  You received a call from scammers.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Did you give the caller any details that they asked for @TC97 because if you did have a read of this:

If you receive an unexpected parcel from Sky get in touch with our customer services team immediately. We can give advice on what to do. Don’t send the parcel anywhere except our returns address.

We’ll give you pre-paid returns packaging to send the parcel back to us.

As it was a scam call so to be on the safe side I would change your online password:
