Poor customer service would never recommend sky

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I have received from Sky. My contract expires on 15 August, and I have made multiple attempts to discuss my renewal. On every occasion, the service has been unacceptable. During my first call, Sky mistakenly set up a completely new account for me, which then had to be cancelled. I was offered a £20 refund as compensation, but I do not feel this reflects the inconvenience, time and frustration caused by Sky's error. On subsequent calls, I questioned why I am being expected to pay £68 per month for my current package when Sky is advertising the same package to Blue Light Card holders for £41 per month, along with a £70 gift voucher. As a police officer, I qualify for this offer, yet I have been repeatedly denied the opportunity to receive the same price. It is completely unreasonable to expect a loyal customer to pay £27 more per month for exactly the same service. What is most disappointing is the complete lack of any genuine apology or effort to resolve the issue. Instead, I have been left feeling as though my loyalty means nothing to Sky. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Sky to anyone. I would like Sky to explain why I am not being offered the same deal that I am eligible for and what they intend to do to resolve this matter. If this cannot be resolved fairly, I will have no hesitation in taking my business elsewhere when my contract ends.

@Beng91

Someone may correct me if this is wrong but my understanding of the Blue Light scheme is that it's applied on taking out a new subscription and can't / won't be added retrospectively.

@Beng91 My understanding too. As an existing customer, you don't qualify.

@Beng91  As per @Daniel0210  Blue Light offers normally apply to new contracts not existing ones

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Apparently Sky doesn't agree: that's been their business model for nearly four decades.
