Please help!! Payment confusion!

So this is my first time paying for broadband myself as we moved recently. I admit, I didnt have enough funds in my bank when the payment was due to come out, however a couple of days later I had enough so I did the manual payment. Since doing the manual payment, the app keeps telling me its paid, unpaid, then paid again, then overdue. It doesn't tell me straight! I have called sky helpline for advice and they said everythings fine on their end, there's no overdue payments, nothing outstanding. However since the call sky is STILL trying to take the payment out of my bank? And its still showing up as paid/unpaid/overdue depending which screen I'm on. I'm really stuck here, me and my partner are really confused as we keep seeing different things. I don't know wether to top my bank up again as it keeps trying to take money out (even though the guy on the phone said its all paid). Any help is really appreciated as we don't know what to do from here, thankyou in advance.🥲

If you pay by a direct debit and it fails for whatever reason Sky will always try to take it again 10 days later which might be what has happened so if this is the case you do not need to make any manual payments. As you have done this you should now see a credit which you can either leave so it is used to pay your next bill or you can call Sky to ask them to refund it to you.
