Phone bill paid early

I paid my phone bill early (and £2 extra) but it's still saying that i'll be charged on the 19th. is this correct?

@lilixx  If you have a direct debit setup you should not make manual payments especially so close to the DD date as it won't stop it from being taken.

Re: Phone bill paid early

I paid early as i had the money and urgently needed to change the date.
It says my bill has been paid in full on the app which is why i'm currently confused. it also says my next bill is paid next month which again is why im confused.

@lilixx  Please see my previous reply, paying early does not stop a direct debit.

@lilixx
If you have a continuous payment method set up you should never need to make a manual payment. Once the usual direct debit payment has been processed a credit will appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid. This should automatically be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account. I would recommend not making any manual payments unless requested to by Sky.
