People & sharing - email not being sent

Hi I have tried to add my partner to the account as a manager however she never receives the email which is supposedly sent via the people and share link. We have looked in junk and have also tried another email address, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what the issue is and how can I add someone else to my account?
