Pending payment £506
Our sky account is under dispute at the moment and you've taken £506 from my account which has now put me into my overdraft and I can not afford to feed my children. You haven't contacted us which we were waiting for to sort this out and now you've just taken money! I need this money back and we need the dispute sorting out before anything else is paid. Please can you stop the money from going out. I have three children to feed and to pay my gas and electric bill aswell.

@pbcw I'm afraid you're not contacting Sky Customer service by posting here
If Sky believe you owe this amount they will normally collect it through your normal payment method.
If the payment is pending it can either be collected or returned but this can take a few days.

Such a large payment sounds like a cancelled credit agreement where the full remaining balance becomes payable.
(If payments have been withheld this can happen - if that what 'under dispute' meant)

You say the the payment impeding? Do you mean you have been you have been notified by your bank of pending direct debit payment to taken in your accont by direct debit tomorrow or is it credit/ debit card payment payment awaiting clearing. If it a direct debit card payment and If things are that serious you can contact your bank now and have the direct debit cancelled today and therefore the payment will fail if it's to be taken tomorrow. However taking this action is not recommended unless you feel that taking this money will put you position desperate poverty and hardship. That you and you family are going to suffer and run the risk of things like gas and electricity being cut off and having no feed to eat. yes this more important than Sky tv. However doing this will cause Sky to restrict your Service and you will not be able to contact them until the bill is paid. And yes eventually debt collection may be taken but if is the only cause of action to stop your family be put in to real hardship this what you can do,

It has not been taken, we are dispute with sky and they shouldn't have taken payment. They said contact bank, we have done and they said it has to be done by yourselves.

I meant it's been taken now even spoken to the bank and they said they can't do anything as it pending but it's not been taken and Iv spoken with them again and they said it's sky that need to refund us the money and they won't do this. We are really struggling

@pbcw If Sky believe the payment is legitimately owed then they won't refund it, having an open dispute about the payment wouldn't necessarily stop it being taken either.
You could call Sky and ask them to refund the payment until the outcome of the dispute is settled, however there is no guarantee they will.
