I've tried so many times to pay my bill online and it doesn't work and no I don't want to set up a direct debit

The T's and C's do state you should have a direct debit or continuous card payment set up.

When you placed your order you must have provided payment details from Sky so usually they would take it from this as the T&Cs do state you must have something like this set up on your account so Sky can take it automatically from you each month.
