Payment taken before installation
Money has been taken from my account by Sky TV when I don't even have Sky TV yet. How can Sky take money when I am still waiting for the engineer / open reach installation. Also no bill has been provided?

Yes I did. I also had an email saying my broadband would be activated on 6th Feb however I don't have broadband as open reach haven't yet done the install yet

Sky Stream is activated automatically and billing commences 2 weeks (it may have been changed to 3 weeks, I'm not sure) after delivery. Unfortunately Sky broadband and Sky tv are treated as separate, unlinked services.

Originally two weeks: it's now three weeks
One to watch out for: If you don’t activate your Sky Stream puck within 21 days of delivery, your subscription and billing will start automatically.

Interesting as I can't activate it without broadband which I am also waiting for! (I don't have a working aerial)

It's activated automatically even without a broadband connection.

Looking through my communications received from Sky but can't see any mention of the 21 days automatic billing anywhere. Where would I have been informed of this?

Page 2 of the contract you read and agreed?
Once your broadband is active simply ask Sky for a credit for the period you could not use?
