Payment not authorising

I keep trying to make a payment, I've tried on the app and online and used two different cards and my payment keeps saying unsuccessful despite having the funds. The live chat won't put me through and the robot on the phone isn't understanding me.

What is this payments in regards to as usually you should have a payment method setup on your account so that it is taken automatically from you each month. So have your services been suspended and you are trying to pay this bill now ?

Re: Payment not authorising

No my services haven't been suspended yet. I did have a direct debit set up and my payment on the due date bounced back and I didn't realise until today when my tv is telling me it needs to be psi otherwise it will be suspended. I have added a payment method and then tried to make the payment but it is not allowing me. The bill is for sky q/broadband

If the direct debit wasn't taken then Sky will try again 10 days later, they will usually send you an email/text about this so you shouldn't need to make the payment yourself because even if you do manage to do this it will not prevent them from trying again to take it via the direct debit.

I tried all month to make a payment online kept not getting authorised too, then they cut me off. You can't ever speak to anyone on sky anymore they charge a fortune and give a useless service nowadays

Re: Payment not authorising

Same for me, trying to order a new mini box and it won't accept payment, keeps stating something is wrong, I've tried 2 differnt credit cards.  How has Sky not picked up on this, they are losing money here!

I would imagine because it's not a widespread problem. There are certainly few reports here. Give Sky a call and they'll sort it out for you.
