Payment issue

I paid my bill by credit card before payment was actioned on my direct debit, my account is now showing I still haven't paid. How long does a payment take to show on an account.

They payment you made could well appear as a credit due to you having a direct debit in place of which the payment should be taken by so there shouldn't have been any need to make this manual payment.

 

When the credit does appear you have two options, you can either leave it as it will be used against your next bill or it can be refunded back to you, help of which can be arranged via here.
