I am confused as I am new to Sky does anyone experienced this too?
If you are new to Sky then your first bill is paid two weeks after your service is activated and then the next one is two weeks after that then it will be monthly.
If you are new to Sky how do you have credit on your account, have you made a manual payment ?

Re: Payment failed
You do not need to make any manual payments as you have been doing as Sky will take it from the direct debit you have set up on your account.
If the credit is showing as £0 then that suggests it has been used to either pay the bill in full or has been used to part pay it, if the later it might explain why Sky are trying still to take the rest via the DD.
