Hello! Long story short is, I've been paying for SKY TV without actually having a box. I've had bad mental health and have been paying for SKY tv since the old HD box went out of use. I've been paying for it without actually having a new SKY Q box delivered or installed.
The first thing was because my building wasn't compatible so one attempt was made like 3 years ago I think. But that's it. Where do I stand & what do I do?
im ready to face it now but unsure where to turn? I don't want to leave SKY but understandably now im back 'in it' I realise that im possibly due some sort of refund?
I will call them but thought here would be best.
Hope someone can help!

@NbSKY You'll need to call Sky however do note if you haven't chased your Sky Q installation up since it was cancelled then you need to speak to Sky to discuss.
These are the current methods for contacting Sky. (Depending on your reason for making contact some methods will be more appropriate than others) …
🔶📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline.
All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.
Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.
🔶online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.
🔶 Sky Assistant should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.
🔶Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).
Note If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of the link is showing the correct flag and change if required.

Re: Paying for SKY without having a box
When contacted Sky 3years ago did you tell them that your box was not working and when you found out for some reason your building was suitable for Sky Q did you not attempt to cancel your subscription? If not I am sorry that if you have did not attempt to cancel at that time and just let your subscription continue, even though you have not had a box to view, Sky are not liable for the period that not have actually not been able to view and under these circumstances unfortunately Sky will not and probably won't give you any refund. You now need to contact Sky to get your subscription either cancelled giving 31 days notice that you will probably be charged for or arrange to have a Sky Q box fitted and have you subscption updated if you want to.
