Paying for HD and Ultra HD

Noticed a previous post but it diod not state what the answer was.

I am currently paying for Sku HD and Sku Ultra HD.

I have Ultimate TV and Netflix.

Based on the below, would i be able to cancel the Sky HD and sill get Netflix Premium (as i will still have the Sky Ultra HD)

Would i be losing anything if i cancel the Sky HD ?

On Sky Q

Ultimate TV includes the Netflix Basic plan (1 screen + SD) as standard
You can upgrade to Netflix Standard (2 screens + HD) by adding the HD pack
You can upgrade to Netflix Premium (4 screens + UHD/HDR) by adding the Ultra HD pack (requires the HD pack first)

With Thanks

Peter

HD is a prerequisite for UHD

...and NetFlix subscriptions have changed upon any renewal/change.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

If you cancelled the HD pack then the ultra HD pack would also be cancelled as you have to have HD on your account before adding Ultra HD to it. So you would be left with Netflix Basic.

I think it would be Netflix 'Standard with Ads' after any contract change impacting Netflix, unless one or both Netflix-specific 'upgrade' add-ons were then put onto the account.

That's no longer the pricing structure on Q: on any new contract the Sky HD and UHD add-ons only apply to Sky content and don't upgrade bundled Netflix, which requires separate additions.

I'd observe that making any change now would result in a considerably poorer value-for-money deal regarding Netflix, although this will happen to all subscribers when their current minimum terms end.
