Package/Cancellation confusion
My current tv package is due to run out in 3 weeks. I have phoned about reducing , offered a new price but still too high even after asking them to remove channels.
Do I still need to give 31 days notice to cancel all of tv even though techinally my contract runs out in 3 weeks? (feeling a bit confused !)
I also asked what the price would be with just essentials but was told I cant recieve any sky channels if I do this? Is Atlantic still not included ? so was not even given a price for just essentials.
At the point of cancelling now anyway as fed up with paying too much for stuff we now dont watch.

YES. It's only your minimum term discounts that expire, not your contract.
If they are expiring in 3 weeks time then you'll be paying around 1 week at list price.

Q Essentials is free-to-air channels only. It retails at £15pm.

'Essential TV' on Sky Stream has Sky Atlantic, Netflix Standard with Adverts and Discovery+ Basic.
'Television Essentials' on Sky Q is just the free to air broadcast television channels with recording and playback, plus the option for app access using additional external subscriptions.
