Overpriced
I am being charged £100.50 a month for the same package as a relative who is only charged £60.50 a month, the only difference is I have Sky HD
How can I get my price reduced?

Re: Overpriced
@Pat190
Is your relative a new customer and therefore benefiting from the new customer discount? Could your discounts have ended?
If your discounted minimum term has ended or its ending soon the best new discounts are still normally acquired by contacting Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will require a new 24 month minimum term contract.
Significant discounts are harder to come by these days so if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer is unlikely to be available when you call back. Also remember you’re not a new Sky customer so don’t expect anything close to a new customer deal.
See this link…

If you decide it’s no longer value for money and you’re thinking of changing providers remember that at the end of their minimum term you'll be in the same position with that company at which point you'll be able to return to Sky and benefit from the new customer discounts available at that particular time.

You call Sky and see if you can get a discount out of them and if you do you will need to make a decision whilst on the call, it will come with a new contract/

Re: Overpriced
@Pat190 while you have not said which services you are paying £100, here's a couple of ways you might be able to get your TV price reduced
(1) check your bills to see if there are services you do not use or need and have them removed
(2) if you are out of contract, renegotiate with Sky to see if you can a cheaper deal
or
(3) leave Sky for a cheaper provider if available e.g. Virgin, BT, EE, Now TV
and finally
(4) Go with Freesat and pay no subscriptions (particularly if you are only watch free to air programmes)
Now TV Sports + Entertainment + Cinema + Ultra Boost @ £31 pm (till October 2026)
1000/1000 FTTP (Digi) £15 pm
3 x Asus XT9 mesh
65" Samsung S92C OLED TV
6 other streaming TVs

Re: Overpriced
@Pat190 do you mean you have an old Sky+HD box? They're increasingly obsolete and you may get a better deal by switching to one of Sky's current tv platforms, either Sky Q (satellite based) or Sky Stream (Internet based).
