Overpaid sky bill

I have been over charged on my sky TV package

Normally £86.00

Was charged £106.00

Sky engineer gave us one month free sport & Cinema, due to a fault device, which was cancelled 11th March 2025,

Why have we been charged for something we have never asked for.

@SteveBremner

You say it was cancelled on 11th March, was that the date you gave the required 31 days notice to remove the sports and movies because if it was billing continues as normal during this period so once they have been cancelled you should then see a credit for the overpayment that can then be refunded to you ?

When did you call Sky to give the 31 days notice required to cancel Sport and Cinema? Ypu would have to call on the day those services were activated to avoid a charge.

As noted, the only way this could be 'free' is if you cancelled on the day it was activated.  (As you have to give 31 days notice you'll pay for any period past the end of the first month)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
