Overcharged

I got overcharged on my bill so payment was declined. I rang and spoke to an agent on Thursday and resolved issue paid my bill over phone. But sky keep trying to charge my account very frustrating I am only with sky 2 months and having nothing but issues dreading thr next 10 . I am looking to cancel my account if not resolved. Is there a way I can cancel . Please any advice

You say you have been overcharged but is really what has happened is that you made a manual payment and then Sky took it via your payment method because if this is what has happened the manual payment you made should now appear on your account as a credit that can be refunded if you want.

Initial bills can be larger than expected as they include the month in advance.  Check your bills and the periods they cover.

 

You don't say what services it's for but if broadband you will be able to cancel penalty free for the forthcoming price increase.  TV not so.

No my subscription was supposed to be 85 they tried to charge me 108 so was overcharged it was declined as I only enough to cover 85. I rang agent resolved issue will no longer be overcharged paid on phone. But since Thursday they have tried 6 times to take 108 from my account.. which hasn't been processed as no money left but will be charged by bank for all these attempts. I paid sky Thursday
