I got an email to say "you'll start paying £39.50 a month by 6 February 2024 instead of £29.00." Why have I been charged £34.42 on 28.12.2023? Please explain and refund me immediately the difference.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAlso do you have any discounts expiring? As that would also explain prices increases.
it's easy to see what is going on by looking at the past, current and future bills as list price and discounts are clearly shown.

We're other customers here and can't see your bills.
Have you looked at your bills, they are fully itemised. (Remember Sky has prorata month in advance charging scheme)

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt could well be that your discount is expiring midway through your billing period so your bill on the 28th December is going up to £34.42 as a partial increase and the next month will see the full increase to £39.50.
