Not impressed at all

I recently left sky Internet after i had spoken to them on the phone and found out i could cancel as was still in the cooling off period (only reason why i left them is because couldn't get the speed i was paying for after i had moved house or would never have left them in the first place). So I've left them and gone with somebody else, now suddenly the £600 i was originally told i would need to pay before i left before i found out about this cooling off period has now appeared on my bill for next month which is stressing me out as i can't afford to pay that ontop of what i pay sky already. I really don't know what to do anymore, what's the point, feel like they tell you one thing then go back on their word to then screw you out of money. Has anybody else experienced something like this before or is it just me?

@Dreamweaver

Bills are created 14 days in advance but what is this £600 are they charging you an early termination fee ?

@Dreamweaver see your contractual terms and conditions for the rights you have to cancel during your cooling off period.

It's not clear what happened - did you perform a home move with an existing contract?  (If so, I don't believe that gives you a new cooling off period and would be liable for early termination charges)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
