I cancelled my sky subscriptions around Christmas time as I work away all over the country and never received any letters from sky besides advertising leaflets wanting me to sign back up. I never received any packaging to return the sky items and as I'm away from home for long periods of time i was unaware that I was going to be charged for non return as I have just seen the charges from sky and had not received any correspondence at my address or any contact by phone.
I am after being pointed in the right direction regarding this charge and the return of the items.
Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSky won't contact you by phone. Providing you’ve cancelled successfully the returns packaging is usually sent out near the end of a cancellation period, which is 31 days for TV and 14 days for broadband, to the address that the account is registered at.
You can reuse the box any new equipment came in. If you don’t have that you can use any packaging as long as it’s secure and you may wish to put a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment that is included. The link below also explains about how to receive an email with your return labels through Royal Mail.

If you haven’t anything suitable give Sky another call. Keep your proof of posting very safe and indefinitely as Unipart, who handle the UK returns, don’t appear to be that well organised. Once the loaned equipment has been successfully returned and processed, any non return fees should be reimbursed.
