HI,
My Sky services were cancelled on 4th March 2023.
I was told I would get a refund automatically by Mid April. I waited and nothing.
I have called Sky 4 or 5 times since and have been given a different answer from each advisor. Each advisor claims refund has been issued. Yet it is now the 26th April and I do not have my refund. This is nearly 7 weeks since my cancellation date.
What is going on?

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

Posted by a Sky employeeHi there! Thank you for escalating this. We have sent an invite @Samo24.

I have spoken to a sky advisor, and apparently I have been sent a cheque.
Advisor can't confirm if cheque was sent yesterday or today. It has also not been sent with tracked delivery so I have no idea if and when I'll get it.
This is ludicrous from Sky.
Very quick to take my money each month, it can't process a simple refund. Unbelievable.

A cheque is normally the last resort and raised because you've already cancelled your previously held payment method.

Nope, my direct debit is still open. Bank details are all still the same. I have changed nothing on my end.
I have cancelled my account with sky, during the 14 day cooling off period.
My sky services were then cancelled on 4 march 2023. I have been waiting since then.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI agree. It's not in Sky's interest to be issuing a cheque unnecessarily. It's a manual process requiring additional resource.

Cheque was supposedly posted to me on Thursday 25th April.
I have not received anything.
What happens now?
