No Satellite Signal or Engineer Visit for 5 weeks

I am a 72 year old lady, living alone who has not had a satellite signal since 22nd February. I called SKY straight away and was told I would have to wait until 24th March for an Engineer visit. 

I waited in all day on 24th March and received a call in the afternoon to say the engineer would not be there until Friday 28th. Waited in all day yesterday and no visit or communication. Rang Actavo this morning and eventually someone got back to me stating that as I live in an apartment complex, they would need to arrange a special team to visit, which would take more weeks. Sureley they knew this when I logged the call in February as they had my address clearly stating Apartment XXX.

I cannot do without my tv for any longer. I have paid my subscriptions up to now and have received no service in the last 5 weeks and it looks like I will not for more weeks.

Can this be escalated to someone who cares please?

If you’re not already aware this is a customer helps customer forum and you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services.

 

So, you presumably have a communal satellite dish and need an engineer arranged by your landlord/management company. Is that who Actavo are?
