New customer as partner moved out
Hi
We where with sky previously and my partner moved out, it's still live as they haven't cancelled at the moment but they said they will soon, so I've ordered a sky package to and broad band in my name, they will then cancel theirs when mine is set up - is this the right way to do things, will already have sky in the house confuse the issue - I really am unsure of what I'm doing

Re: New customer as partner moved out
The account holder should have cancelled the subscriptions (if Sky allow it if a minimum tern deal is in place) and returned any loaned equipment at the end of the notice period (31 days for TV and 14 days for Broadband and Sky Talk). Then you can arrange a subscription in your name and relevant equipment will be provided.

Re: New customer as partner moved out
I have emails saying that my equipment is on the way, will it not work until theirs has been cancelled. They have a rolling month contract.

What Sky services does your ex subscribe to at the address?
They need to cancel asap as the notice period applies.

Tv and broadband, they have offered to wait until mine was set up so that their is no gap because I work from home and we have teenagers, they are aware of notice periods etc just didn't want to be without whilst new account set up
