Re: Netflix charges
@Flowstate wrote:I have the same problem, I've just logged and and it says standard included, but they have been charging me, I even selected on the app free with ads and saved it, yet when I go back it's changed to £6 a month, I'm refusing to pay this they have broken the contract and I would like to actually speak to a human to sort this out, I can even screenshot to prove it's free as part of my package
Just a few points:
1) 'Included' doesn't mean it's not itemised on your bill and will have a charge against it. With a deal you agree a total price (say £30) where both Signature and NetFlix will be listed but a correcting discount will be applied to bring it to the agreed total pice. If you've made package changes then you may have changed your contract/discounts.
2) You cannot refuse to pay your bills. If you do then your account will be restricted and you won't be able to contact Sky. If there is an error then Sky will update future bills accordingly.
3) If you want to speak to a human then go ahead and call (assuming your account hasn't been restricted as per 2). Some find saying nothing to the bot may connect them.

its "included as free" - which means the cost of the basic tiers are part of the cost of the bundle you are paying, and its not possible to remove them from the bundle for a cheaper price.
For example Sky Cinema includes the lowest Paramount + tier as part of the subscription package. Its termed "as free" because Paramount + si included as part of the Sky Cinema package and you can't remove the basic tier of Paramount + to lower the cost of Sky Cinema, its essentially an added benefit of subscribing to Sky Cinema.

Correct phone numbers can't be published, as its the only way to stop scammers posting incorrect numbers on the forum.
Sky doesn't typically publish the various support phone numbers anyway ( aside from being able to dial 150 from a Sky Mobile or Sky Landline). Instead to get a relevant phone number you need to follow the various online help guides, and if they don't work you click on "No i still need more help" and it generates various methods of contacting Sky ( e.g phone numbers, live chats ( if appropriate) etc). Whilst this can make it more annoying to get a contact phone number, it ensures the number you get is the correct one, as if Sky changed their phone numbers the internet would still be full on the older ones.

Only if you have Sky stream or glass as online advertising is only advertising these packages thes days Sky Q is no longer availed on line and not advertised, if you want you have to phone Sky and ask for it. Netflix basic with ads has always been chargeable on extra on Sky Q under the ultimate tv pack explained.

@DaveDrizen - just wanted to check to make sure you are aware - that quoted post you are directly replying to was from 2024.
