NOW Tv

I seem to be paying twice for SKY UK Ltd £9.00 a month and also Apple 6.99 a month for access to NOW TV just to watch sport. Do I need both? These subscriptions are so complicated ... I'm confused. Just want to watch test cricket ... that's all.

If the payment says "Sky" on you PayPal account it is scam as Sky do not accept payments though PayPal

What sport do you watch on Sky for £9 and on now tv £.6,99 as they are normally  £34 & 35 with out any discounts. If you are on A full Sky sports alll channels subscription keep that one and cancel now tv which if you are only on monthly member ship (  which I doubt at that price) you membership will end at the next billing date. However if I suspect you are on saver deal with now which I think is for 6 months though  they you cancel any time you membership end till the end of premonition period. However even if you are saver deal £9 is vey cheap as they are normally £27. However if you sky sports is only for the cricket channel you might want to keep Now tv which you access to all the sports channels, and you only want to watch cricket at the moment som cricket is on other sky sports channels when there is more tha one match on at the same time, ie Tesr match & woman T20;World Cup for example and if you only have subscription to cricket channel you will not be able to watch the cricket on the other channel with that subscription but you will with your now tv membership.

Re: NOW Tv

I pay Apple for a NOW subscription at £6.99 for 12 months and then £9.99 thereafter. I don't understand the £9 to SKY and can't find any information anywhere on what it's for or how to cancel? Maybe a scam payment?

Did you say that's now tv sports membership as the price you quoted is for the entertainment membership  the sports subscription is usually a lot higher £34 full cost and £27 for 6 month saver membership. That's the prices I pay. You actually watched cricket on now tv with that membership. Where dose it say " Sky Uk Ltd, is it on your bank account as Sky and if so is it a direct debit, if so Sky payments normally say" Sky digital " on your bank account., if it is and you don't have Sky cancel the direct debit, if its card payment my bank can block  unauthorised card payments, maybe your bank dose too.

That sounds like you need to ask Apple?

@zencarpenter Do you have the Ultra boost addon so you can watch in UHD and on 3 devices? If you do that may explain the £9 charge.

Re: NOW Tv

If you  have  the Apple support app you can see all the subscriptions you have with Apple on there.

The boost not only gives you viewing on multiple devices  but also gives you HD quality picture  if you cancel that your picture quality will drop down to  720p which is sad. If you want cancel and I presume you have Apple TV box you can do it by find in the setting app on your box, then select "user  and accounts"then scroll down to "subscribers" , locate you boost subscription and select it, then choose " cancel  subscription" and follow instructions to confirm. It will take effect from the next payment date.
