My subscription is up at the end of November.I have told them,as a "valued customer" for 25 years, VIP Diamond status, and a BSKYB customer before that in the 80's,with an unbroken contract up until now, that I was cancelling due to my loyalty to them being ignored by the ever increasing price rises. From March until June this year alone they increased my package by 35%.Despite calling them, they offered a derisory reduction which quite frankly was laughable.I subscribe to some of their channels and pay over £120 per month. My argument to them was a new customer can join for £40 with Entertainment,Netflix and Sky Sports, which are the channels I subscribe to,so somebody like myself a subsciber for 35 years should be shown a bit more respect with to my monthly contribution.
To add to my frustration when I tuned in to Sky Sports the human " foghorn" Gary Neville, with
that monotonous drone, ,was telling everybody what was wrong at Man United.Mr know-it-all should be their next manager and Salford, would not be in serious debt,if he was clever as he thinks he is.This made me more irate after my fruitless chat to an advisor trying not to listen to his Nevil.e's drivel.
They tried to sugar-coat the costs by adding a few extras which did not interest me.
It is up them to come back with a reasonable offer otherwise I can rely on Freeview easily during the week.Any football I want to see will be down the pub so no skin of my nose.

Your subscripition isn't actually up at the end of November but a minimum term could well be so if you are planning to leave then you have to give Sky 31 days notice so you would need to give them this in the new few days or so.
