My account isn't working

I purchased a sky glass tv as a new customer a couple of weeks ago. Since then I have never been able to access anything on my account (it says I'm not a customer) I've tried phoning up and was told that once my tv was delivered and set up then so would my account and app. However it's been a week since I took delivery and I'm still unable to access anything. I received an email today about a welcome gift however I cannot access that either. I'm not sure what else to do!

Have you called and spoke to Sky since your TV was installed ?

I have yes but they can't help because o don't have a pass code set or something, but I'm not sure how to set one of those either!
