My Sky entertainment

My Sky Entertainment  + Netflix is about to expire, 01 Sept 2024, I have tried calling cusotmer services, but I can not get them to understand that I want to renew the contract. I have looked on my sky app, all there is on offer is sky sports, which I don't want.

I can not sign up for the new sky entertainment package as that is for New Customers. How do I get the new sky entertainment package, as that is what I want, no sports and no kids channels.

HELP. please.

@RoughTrader  You would need to contact Sky to negotiate a new deal, it's unlikley you'll get any New customer deals though

You can call Sky or use the following link https://www.sky.com/help/home/your-account/my-account-and-subscription/cancelling/cancel-my-subscrip...

Scroll down to the Contact Us section, select I need more help, all the relevant options to contact Sky will be provided.

You can also call on 150 from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk line

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

If you don't see the Contact options on the link above make sure java script is enabled on your browser.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@RoughTrader
Any renewal will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are much harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

Your contract doesn't expire so your services will continue as normal, all that will happen is you will see a price increase due to the discount ending,

If you have the entertainment (legacy) package then you would have to switch to Signature for any deal...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
