Hi, so for context this is my first bill. I paid it manually on the 29th of November, as it was due 2nd of December and I wanted to make sure it got there on time. Then on the 2nd of December a second payment was taken, which isnt ideal as it's left me short financially this month, but maybe it was my error paying it early. It does say on the mysky app that the second payment would act as a credit and cover my next bill. However last night (3rd december) another payment attempt was made? It declined as I dont have the funds to pay a third bill this month. I'm concerned that it will keep trying to take my payment and that will affect my credit score because from now on it will decline. How do I get the payment attempts to stop? It clearly shows in my app that two payments have gone through, it even says thank you for paying your bill!

Re: Multiple payments taken for one bill
You are correct in saying you didn't need to pay this first bill manually as you have a payment method setup so it will be taken from that each time it is due.
To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147
When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

A credit may not stop an automated payment depending on the timing.
