Multiple hard searches for one device purchase
I have recently purchased a MacBook through the monthly payment plan and, as I am aware, a hard search was conducted. However, upon looking at my credit file with Experian, multiple hard searches have been conducted for the one device ordered. As there is no live chat option (the AI robot is beyond useless), I am not a particular fan of phone calls, and there is no email service, I was wondering if I could request help via the discussion platform?
I will not have multiple searches appear for one product when the print in the contract states that only one search will be conducted per product. I would like this rectified, or I shall have no choice but to cancel all subscriptions and go elsewhere for furture purchases.
Thank you,
A.

There are two credit checks, a soft credit check and an enhanced credit check.

Re: Multiple hard searches for one device purchase
Thank you for your response.
I am aware of the soft and hard searches, however, multiple hard searches with the same date have appeared on my credit file for the purchase of one item.
