I have made a payment of £40 this morning but still the net is not working

If your broadband has been restricted due to the bill not being paid then as well as paying the bill in full you do also need to setup your payment method again then once you have done this you are waiting for the banks to clear the payment you made before it will be restored.

And additionally if your payment is 2+ weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well and if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).
