Sky supply our broadband and TV thru Sky Q. We're moving house in a few weeks and want to keep Sky as a provider but we want to switch our Q for Stream as theres full fibre where we're going, we don't really want the dish and it's a bit cheaper (at the moment).
Currently the 'Moving Home' process on the website doesn't allow us to switch our TV. But we can switch it by "upgrading". Is it better for us to upgrade the TV via the website, let the order process then follow thru the 'Moving Home' online process or simply pick up the phone and do it manually with a Sky rep? If it can all be done in one go, whats the best contact number to call?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt would probably be easier to do it via the phone:
150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:
Try saying nothing when spoken to by the bot.
You would also need to return your Sky Q box so Sky usually sends packaging out near the end of the cancellation notice period of 31 days for TV or 14 days for Broadband/Talk so if you haven't received it then you can use whatever boxes you have or can get as this link will help you to print the return label and return it via Royal Mail:

Add a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment you have included.
Make sure you get and keep proof of posting when sending this off.
