Moving home with gap

Leaving current property, moving in with parent (who already has sky) for a few weeks until my new property completes. Do I have to cancel my subscription?

Strictly speaking you don't need to cancel a Sky Television subscription, but that would require continuing to pay the bill...

Not cancelling broadband does somewhat inconvenience anyone moving into the property you are vacating.

Hi @Ben0416   If you are still within your minimum term, I would book a Home Move when you know your moving in date. Sky don't do payment holidays so you would have to continue payments.

Bizarre that Sky don't have a set procedure in place for this really. I'd be happy to just carry on paying it because it will only be a few weeks but as mentioned above, that will likely inconvenience the people moving into my house. Frustrating.
